Nemoo the Grass puppy
Nemoo came to us early in 2018 as a tiny 9wk old dairy steer. He had finished his life on the western show circuit in a petting zoo calf and soon became a huge star! Nemoo has been on "Studio ten" TV, on the front page of our own "Townsville Bulletin", he was even featured in the 'Woman's day' magazine! He's been into the radio station, although he didnt do any mooing! He has been down the iconic Strand at a mental health fundraiser and then largely popular at the 'Our Townsville' event in the Wellbeing area. Nemoo is well loved and well known in Townsville and surrounds. He has grown from the size of a dog to now almost 6ft tall! But don't let his size intimidate you, he is a very large loveable grass puppy who adores a cuddle and scratch.
Trish
Trish is the owner of Coothara Farm. She is a Senior Veterinary Nurse, Snake catcher and Reptile rehabilitator with over 20yrs experience. She is well known throughout the Townsville and surrounds community for her help and dedication to wildlife, particularly reptiles. Always one to help those who can't help themselves. Trish also is the vet nurse for Angel Paws and dedicates her time to help desex pets to be rehomed through the charity.
The horses
Enjoy the company of Manouche, Bossman, Lily or Floss on the farm. They are very quiet and safe for you to spend some time with them. Bossman is very 'in-tune' with people and will often approach those in need. Our horses have had extensive groundwork to make them safe for interactions. Spend time patting them, grooming them or just sitting there and being with them.
